To mark the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May 2023, Carrs Silver have created a collection of exclusive picture frames to celebrate this historic occasion.

Our unique sterling silver photo frames created by our craftsmen, carries the specially sanctioned component hallmark, established by The British Hallmarking Council.  Based on a medal by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS and using artwork supplied by Thomas Fattorini, the mark depicts the King’s head against an oval background.

These commemorative products are sure to become "antiques of the future" and are highly collectable. There have only been eight additional commemorative hallmarks in the past, from King George V's Silver Jubilee in 1934, the Coronation in 1953, the Silver, Golden, Diamond and Platinum Jubilees in 1977, 2002, 2012 and 2022 respectively, and finally the Millennium celebrations in 2000.
