The frame can be personalised with a small amount of engraving such as a date or initials.  Or alternatively applied to a discrete plaque on the back.

Each photo size is 8cm x 6cm, 3.125" x 2.25".  This size relates to the aperture of the window that the photograph fits into.  Traditional frames were originally made to non-standard sizes, the nearest recommended photo size for each aperture is 3.125" x 2.25".
